Magnificent antique Murano wine goblet, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. A rare masterpiece of Venetian glassmaking, reflecting the refined Neo-Renaissance aesthetic.
The vessel is crafted in "Pulegoso" glass, a historic technique characterized by countless tiny air bubbles trapped within the glass, creating a mesmerizing textured and translucent effect. The body is meticulously hand-enameled in relief, featuring a noble equestrian scene with figures on horseback, surrounded by intricate floral scrolls.
High-carat gold leaf accents adorn the figures and the delicate crescent-patterned base, adding a brilliant luster to the polychrome enamels.
